Our School is a member of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools and accredited by the NSW Community Languages School Program of the Department of Education and Training (DET) NSW.

Harmony Russian School is a Creative Kids and Active Kids registered provider which can give each school-aged child $50 toward their Russian Language classes.

The classes aim

Conduct classes in Russian language outside day school hours to children from 3,5 y.o. age to 14.
Teach school aged children the Russian language and culture of their parents and grandparents.
Develop super memory and concentration, logical thinking.
Develop an interest in students in Russian drama, art.

Learning focus

Students will develop the knowledge, understanding and the listening, reading, speaking and writing skills necessary for effective interaction in Russian.

Students will explore the nature of languages as systems by making comparisons between Russian and English, leading to an appreciation of the correct application of linguistic structures and vocabulary.

Students will develop knowledge of the culture of Russian-speaking communities and an understanding of the interdependence of language and culture, there by encouraging reflection on their own cultural heritage.
